Circle City Studio was originally founded in 2018 with the intention of opening a yoga studio. For years, it served as my online presence as a yoga instructor, a place to share my philosophy of yoga and keep students informed of my teaching schedule. I chose the name “Circle City Studio” because I envisioned a future brick-and-mortar space that would encompass not only yoga but also other creative endeavors and artistic offerings.
The name turned out to be surprisingly fitting—fortuitous, even—as Circle City Studio has evolved into a creative collective. Today, it still encompasses my yoga instruction (primarily in local gyms and in my private home studio) but has expanded to reflect my passion for my artistic endeavors including woodturning and the occasional watercolor painting, and my husband’s blacksmithing work. What began as a simple online yoga platform has grown into a multidisciplinary collective that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the blending of art and practice.
